Gavin Newsom Crosses the Line: Mocking Trump’s Health While California Burns

The governor’s obsession with power has replaced his humanity—and his leadership.

Gavin Newsom just hit a new low.

While fires erupt in across California, the governor’s press office thought it was funny to post about “Dozy Don” and a supposed “Stroke” suffered by President Trump?

A sitting governor mocking our presidents health isn’t leadership. It’s indecency wrapped in bad taste.

Even many of his own supporters said it crossed a line. But the truth is, this isn’t a simple slip up. It’s who Gavin has become, a man so addicted to power that he’s forgotten what it means to serve others.

Because while he’s posting cheap shots about Trump, California was literally burning.

And where was the governor?

Playing Fortnite with Youtubers.

Dead serious.

The man tasked with running the world’s fourth-largest economy was gaming online while smoke filled the skies as a refinery erupted.

This is what happens when leadership turns into lifestyle branding.

It’s not about solving problems anymore, it’s about staying ‘relevant’, staying ‘viral’, staying ‘edgy’.

Meanwhile, Steve Hilton, a Republican candidate for governor, is actually talking about numbers, calling out Newsom’s $12 billion plan to provide healthcare for illegal immigrants, a policy that will cost every Californian about $900 next year.

Whether you agree with him or not, at least he’s talking policy. Gavin’s busy playing games (literally).

Here’s the reality:

California doesn’t need another celebrity governor cosplaying an influencer.
It needs a worker. Someone who shows up. Someone who treats leadership as moral responsibility, not a character they’ve been hired to play.

And here’s what’s most disturbing to me, the moral collapse of cheering for someone’s illness. I’ve seen this way too many times to that it’s impossible to count.
When it was discovered that President Biden was ill, everyone I knew sent prayers. You don’t root for another man’s pain, no matter how much you disagree with his politics. You pray for recovery. And you hope for decency.

But we’ve lost that.

And Gavin Newsom just reminded us how far we’ve fallen.

Watch the full video above. From Gavin Newsom, to the newly announced ‘Trump coin', to Steve Hilton’s quiet climb towards the mainstream, and more.

The reason I’m so passionate about moments like this is because I’m sick of watching our politicians treat power like it’s a playground, while real people with real issues are fighting battles on multiple fronts. Because power without humanity isn’t leadership, it’s destruction.
